All people have the capacity and responsibility to learn about the experiences and needs of ourselves and others. I believe firmly in intersectionality and the inherent validity of our own experiences. We are whole people, greater than the sum of our identities, and we exist as all of ourselves at all times. We are the experts of our own lives, regardless of our credentials, and we have the ability to both share our own truths and take in the truths of others, even when those things are sometimes incongruent.
